Wings of Isis is made for putting things back together: your heart, your home, your craft. It's traditionally used for spiritual healing, restoration, spellcraft, maternal protection and devotion.
In ancient Egypt, Isis was called "great of magic." An Egyptian tale tells how she learned the secret name of the sun god Ra, the source of his power. The Great Hymn to Osiris describes her searching for her murdered husband, then fanning breath back into him with her wings so she could conceive their son Horus. Plutarch later retold the story in On Isis and Osiris, and healing spells on Egyptian stelae call on her to cure her child Horus.
