Lioness Fire is made for when you need to roar. It's traditionally used for courage, protection, solar power, spiritual healing and turning anger into fuel.
Sekhmet, whose name means "the Powerful One," is the lion-headed goddess of ancient Egypt. In the Book of the Heavenly Cow, found in the tombs of Seti I and other kings, Ra sends her out as his fiery Eye to punish rebellious humankind. Her rampage is stopped only when he floods the fields with beer dyed red, which she drinks until she's calm. Her priests were also healers, and Amenhotep III filled the temple of Mut at Karnak with hundreds of her statues.

Courage. Dress a red or orange candle and burn it at midday before a confrontation, a performance or any day you need to walk in like you own it.
Protection. Dress a petition naming who and what you're guarding, and keep it under a candle or near your front door.
Transmuting anger. Write out what's burning you up, dress the paper, then burn it safely and let the fire turn it into strength.
Healing work. Dress a candle for strength and recovery. Use it alongside medical care, never instead of it.
Bath. Blend a few drops into a carrier oil or a cup of salt first. Never add it straight to the water.

Store it cool and dark with the cap tight, and use it within about a year for the best scent. This is a warming oil, so patch test on your inner arm 24 hours before use on skin, avoid mucous membranes and discontinue if irritation occurs.
