Honey of the River is made for sweetness in every form: love, self-love, joy and abundance that flows easily. It's traditionally used for attraction, sweetening, abundance, joy and creative fertility.
Oshun (Ọ̀ṣun) is an Orisha of the Yoruba people, still honored today in living traditions across West Africa and the diaspora, including Ifá, Lukumí and Candomblé. This oil is inspired by her symbols and made with respect for those traditions; it does not claim to represent her. She is the Orisha of the Osun River in Nigeria, and the Osun-Osogbo Sacred Grove along its banks is a UNESCO World Heritage Site where her festival is still held every year. She is honored with honey, gold and brass, mirrors and fans, and the number five, and in Cuba she is linked with the Virgin of Charity, the country's patroness.

Sweetening. Dress a yellow or gold candle and set it on a honey jar holding the name of the person or situation you want to sweeten.
Self-love. After a patch test, touch a drop to your wrists or heart and spend a few minutes with your own reflection in a mirror, saying what you love about yourself.
Abundance. Dress a petition for prosperity and joy, and keep it with a few coins in your wallet or on your altar.
Devotional use. If you honor Oshun within Ifá, Lukumí or Candomblé, follow the guidance of your elders or godparents.
Bath. Blend a few drops into a carrier oil or a cup of salt first. Never add it straight to the water.
